We’re looking for an experienced delivery leader to lead Business Analysis and Change across EMR Settlement (EMRS). In this role, you’ll take ownership of prioritisation, coordination, and delivery across both strategic transformation initiatives and BAU change, ensuring a controlled and predictable flow of work.
Acting as both a hands‑on delivery lead and team leader, you’ll support and develop the BA and Change team, embed structure and best practice, and work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective, well‑governed change across EMRS.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and stabilise Business Analysis and Change delivery across EMRS, ensuring a consistent, controlled, and prioritised approach to delivery.
- Own the day‑to‑day coordination, allocation, and oversight of BA work across strategic transformation initiatives and BAU change.
- Provide structured assessment of system, policy, and legislative changes impacting EMRS, ensuring effective governance and delivery.
- Guide product and delivery teams on implementation approaches, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Ofgem, DESNZ, and National Grid.
- Oversee assurance and approvals processes, working collaboratively with partners such as Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) and the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC).
- Ensure effective resource allocation, workload visibility, and risk management across all change activity.
- Support resolution of operational and delivery issues, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Lead, develop, and performance‑manage the EMR Change Team, building capability and engagement.
- Produce and oversee high‑quality governance reporting and stakeholder communications.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading Business Analysis or change delivery in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Strong track record of bringing structure and clarity to ambiguous or unstructured workloads.
- Experience working across both Agile/product‑led delivery and BAU/reactive change environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously in a regulated environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands‑on leadership style with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused mindset.
- Experience developing and supporting teams with varied capability levels.
- Confidence working within governance frameworks and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of GB electricity settlements or wider energy market frameworks.
- Experience in digital transformation and legacy modernisation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience in multi‑party, regulated environments.
- Tools such as JIRA, UML, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience across Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
What’s in it for you:
- Salary – £75,000.
- Excellent benefits including bonus, private medical insurance and generous pension scheme.
- The opportunity to work within a thriving organisation which can support your growth and development.
- We operate a hybrid working approach with 2 days in our London office.
