About ElevenLabs

ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology. We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses - from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors are some of the world's most prominent, including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $11B.

We have expanded from voice into three main platforms:

  • ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale.
  • ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
  • ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.

Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you.

How we work:

  • High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy.
  • Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have.
  • AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results.
  • Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.
  • Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location.

What we offer:

  • Innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to define the trajectory of AI.
  • Growth paths: Joining ElevenLabs means joining a dynamic team with countless opportunities to drive impact.
  • Learning & development: ElevenLabs proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend.
  • Social travel: We provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year.
  • Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the entire team together in a new location.
  • Co-working: We offer a monthly co-working stipend if you’re not located near one of our main hubs.

About the role:

ElevenLabs is building the most advanced AI audio platform in the world. Millions of creators, developers, and businesses use our products, and our website is one of the company’s most important sources of new users and subscriptions. We are looking for a Growth Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, product, data, and business. You will build and optimize the experiences that help users discover ElevenLabs, understand its value, and become active customers.

This is a highly autonomous role focused on measurable outcomes. You will identify growth opportunities, form hypotheses, build and launch experiments, analyze the results, and decide what to do next. You will work across conversion-rate optimization, organic search, programmatic pages, onboarding, web performance, and experimentation infrastructure.

The right person is a strong product-minded engineer who enjoys moving quickly, working with data, and owning problems from initial idea through implementation and measurable impact.

What you will do:

  • Identify and build opportunities to improve acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and revenue.
  • Own growth experiments from hypothesis through implementation, instrumentation, launch, analysis, and iteration.
  • Build and improve high-traffic product pages, landing pages, onboarding experiences, and programmatic page systems.
  • Improve technical SEO, crawlability, structured data, internal linking, page quality, and website performance.
  • Collaborate with design, SEO, product, data, marketing, and frontend engineering to turn successful experiments into scalable systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience building production web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
  • Experience independently taking projects from an initial idea through launch and measurable impact.
  • Strong product judgment, with the ability to identify friction, form hypotheses, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Experience working with analytics, funnels, experimentation, SQL, and product or business metrics.
  • Comfortable operating with high autonomy, shipping quickly, and collaborating across engineering, design, product, data, and marketing.

Bonus:

  • Experience working as a Growth Engineer, Product Engineer, startup founder, or early-stage engineer.
  • Experience building programmatic SEO systems or scaling large numbers of landing pages.
  • Experience with technical SEO, experimentation platforms, feature flags, or A/B testing.
  • Experience improving onboarding, activation, monetization, referral, or sharing flows.
  • A portfolio of side projects, products, automations, or experiments you have launched.

Growth potential:

We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth.

Location:

This role is remote and can be executed from the US East Coast or Europe, with sufficient working-hour overlap with the broader team. You may also work from one of our offices, including London, New York, Madrid, Warsaw, and other ElevenLabs locations.

We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Elevenlabs uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
