We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a key role leading complex projects and managing important client relationships, working closely with Strategy and Creative colleagues to deliver work that makes a real difference. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing client partnership, project delivery and commercial thinking, and who understands how to get the best out of the creative process from brief through to final delivery.
About the role
- You will lead the delivery of campaigns and content across a range of purpose-driven organisations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brief while building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
- You will play a central role in coordinating internal teams and external partners, spotting opportunities for growth and supporting the development of more junior colleagues.
- You will also bring a strong understanding of how creative work is developed, with the confidence to write clear briefs, guide feedback, and work collaboratively with designers, writers and strategists to produce high-quality work.
This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months. We’re looking for someone to start ASAP. The salary is £35k a year. The contract will end on the return of the substantive post-holder, which may be earlier or later than expected.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading delivery of client projects from briefing through to completion
- Managing relationships with clients at different levels
- Writing briefs, reviewing work and ensuring quality before delivery
- Working closely with Strategy and Creative to achieve the best outcomes
- Developing proposals, budgets and project plans
- Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Supporting pitches and new business activity
- Coaching and supporting colleagues
- Maintaining accurate project and client information across our systems
