An innovative clean-energy technology company is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support the scale-up and commissioning of advanced process systems.
The Role: You will lead process commissioning activities from build through FAT/SAT and start-up, working closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external suppliers. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the commissioning and start-up of electrolyser systems, ensuring they meet design, safety, and performance requirements. The ideal candidate is expected to eventually lead the commissioning function within the business.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (or similar)
- 5+ years process engineering / commissioning experience
- Strong knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, process design, and equipment sizing
- Experience in hazardous or regulated environments
- Working knowledge of process safety (HAZOP, LOPA, ATEX/IECEx)
- Willingness to travel for commissioning activities
- Experience working on a COMAH site
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
