Quantity Surveyor – Engineering / Manufacturing Projects Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire (Office-based with site travel) Type: Full-Time, Permanent Eleven have been retained to find someone to join one of the UK’s leading Engineering Project specialists as a Quantity Surveyor working across a diverse portfolio of projects, processes, and industries. Our client delivers turnkey industrial solutions across the UK and Europe – from fast-paced smaller jobs to complex multi-phase frameworks. You’ll take on a client-facing, commercial ownership role , driving the monthly cycle of applications, cost controls, change management and contract admin across a growing book of industrial projects. To be considered for this role you must have experience working in a QS / Commercial role within Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Projects (not housing / buildings) and NEC3/4 Contracts. Attend weekly client progress calls and maintain project commercial calendars Manage compensation events, early warnings, variations (NEC3/4) Track budgets, CVRs, cost files, timesheets and subcontractor accounts Own smaller projects commercially with minimal oversight Hold formal Quantity Surveying qualification(s) Have proven experience in Quantity Surveyor or Assistant QS role in industrial engineering / manufacturing sectors (not housing) Strong understanding of contracts (NEC3/4) and live commercial delivery Confident with CVRs, variations, budget build-up, contract calendars Comfortable visiting sites 1–2 days/week (day trips, not overnight)
