Process Scientist (Chemical Engineering) Location: Macclesfield Position: Full Time, On site Salary: £35-40,000 plus benefits Are you a passionate engineer with hands-on R&D experience, and a passion for process development? Eleven have been retained to find a “Process Scientist” to play a critical role in developing innovative processes and scaling up groundbreaking technology. Key Responsibilities: Process Development: Assist in developing novel process designs using experimental data and models. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a strong safety culture, participate in safety reviews. Operational Excellence: Operate reactor systems, troubleshoot lab and pilot-scale equipment, and perform critical calculations for customer projects. Continuous Improvement: Proactively share knowledge across teams, solve complex challenges, and improve processes. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or above, in Chemical or Process Engineering. Industrial experience in chemicals R+D environment, with lab and plant experience Ability to design, execute, and critically analyse experimental programmes. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
