Process Modelling Engineer Location: Macclesfield, UK Employment Type: Full-Time Are you a skilled Chemical Engineer with a knack for solving complex problems and optimising processes? Eleven have been retained by a forward-thinking chemicals company looking for a Process Modelling Engineer to drive innovation and efficiency across laboratory, pilot, and full-scale production. Key Responsibilities Develop process models to optimise production. Lead experimental programmes to understand reaction kinetics and thermodynamics. Support process safety reviews (HAZOP, LOPA) and ensure compliance with SHE standards. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and refine processes for maximum efficiency. What We’re Looking For Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering. Experience in chemical/process engineering in an R&D environment. Expertise in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS etc). Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Why Join?
