Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer based in Oxford - Monday to Friday - Days £40-50,000 (including on call allowance 1 in 4) for a Chemicals company.
The role will predominantly focus on Reactive and Preventive Maintenance of equipment and facilities, establishing and following safe maintenance work practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ideally, you will have a 50:50 Electrical:Mechanical skill set, with a preference for an Electrical bias.
You must have demonstrable experience working in a Chemicals / CoMAH or similarly highly regulated / hazardous manufacturing environment. Additionally, you need to have the Right to work in the UK, as our client is not able to sponsor.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and optimise output.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
- Ensure machinery and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.
- Formal (Electrical) Engineering qualification(s).
- Additional (Mechanical) qualification / experience.
- Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on a range of production equipment.
- Live locally / able to be on an 'on call' rota.
