We are looking for a motivated Graduate Scientist to support laboratory research focused on advanced materials for a clean tech, start‑up company. This is a lab‑based role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on experimental work and contributing to cutting‑edge technology development.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine laboratory experiments to support R&D and technology development.
- Follow rigorous health, safety, quality and environmental standards, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Plan day‑to‑day laboratory activities effectively in support of wider scientific objectives.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard‑copy experimental and quality records.
- Communicate experimental progress and results clearly, both verbally and electronically.
About You
- Experience working in a laboratory-based environment.
- A degree in Chemistry, Applied Science or another relevant scientific discipline is desirable.
- Experience with experimental planning would also be advantageous.
