We are supporting one of our long-standing clients in their search for a Data Specialist to join their growing team, who will focus on accelerating the development of the data systems and analysis, that will focus on BESS (Battery Electric Storage Systems) projects. Our client are one of Europe\’s largest Investment Fund Management companies that focus exclusively on investing in clean energy infrastructure, that have an extensive portfolio made up of solar pv, onshore and offshore wind and BESS. This role is based in their office in London. This role will focus on Cybersecurity Protection, Platform & Power BI Engineering, and Systems Admin responsibilities. Key responsibilities: Focus on managing and creating reports/dashboards in Power BI, in addition to managing the interfaces with data platforms (Greenbyte, iLevel, Alfresco, QBi, Pexamonitor) Managing data flows from third parties (e.g. plant SCADA, TCMA providers) and to outsourced data analysis (e.g. technical deep dive providers or analysts). Knowledge of Azure platform and management of database structures for data aggregation and reporting via Power BI Arranging and monitoring cyber penetration tests on systems within the portfolio of assets, and providing remedites to vulnerabilities found Reviewing the proposed infrastructure planned for new plants to come into the companies portfolio Coordination with the TCMAs on cybersecurity issues and incidents Requirements and skills 3 years of working experience in a similar role Experienced with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI Experience in project management, systems integration, and cloud computing (ideally Microsoft Azure: Blob, Data Factory, MS SQL) Previous experience or knowledge of renewable energy assets, or power and grid experience Please note, this is a contract role for 18 months which will then go to a permanent role after that time.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
