We are supporting an innovative clean technology company that is looking for a Cell Test Technician to join its growing R&D team. This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on electrode manufacturing, cell assembly, and electrochemical testing. Working closely with scientists and electrochemists, you will support the development and validation of next-generation materials through high-quality experimental work and accurate data collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrode manufacturing processes, including slurry mixing, coating, and calendaring
- Assemble coin and pouch cells within controlled laboratory and dry-room environments
- Execute battery cell testing programmes and support electrochemical investigations
- Maintain laboratory equipment, test systems, and thermal chambers
- Accurately record experimental procedures, results, and observations
- Follow established laboratory procedures and quality standards
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to support materials development projects
Requirements
- Experience working within a laboratory, chemical, or scientific environment
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work accurately
- Experience recording experimental data and maintaining laboratory documentation
- Ability to manage laboratory activities efficiently and meet deadlines
