We are supporting a fast-growing, clean energy technology business that is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the planning and delivery of technical work packages within a fast-paced engineering and development environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with project coordination and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to the development of advanced industrial and process technologies.
You will take ownership of engineering tasks from concept through to implementation, working both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engineering work packages through hands-on execution and teamwork
- Support project planning, including scope, scheduling, and risk management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, process, and operations
- Work with external suppliers and contractors
- Carry out on-site engineering activities, including equipment assembly and modification
- Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Support system and equipment development, including testing and risk analysis
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years’ experience in an engineering role, ideally in R&D or development
- Broad technical understanding across engineering disciplines
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel
