Finance Manager – Energy Infrastructure Project
West Midlands | 6-Month Contract
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a major, large-scale infrastructure project in the West Midlands on a 6-month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, closing packs and management information.
- Oversee Accounts Payable, supplier/subcontractor payments and reconciliations.
- Manage project cash flow, treasury, collections and payment forecasting.
- Review contractual payment terms, bonds, guarantees and insurance requirements.
- Support month-end close, WIP calculations and project cost reporting.
- Reconcile project costs with accounting and cost-control records.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, PAYE and pension requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, commercial teams and project management.
- Identify financial risks, opportunities and areas for improved cost control.
