Eleven 11 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead a brand-new supported living service in King's Lynn.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the setup and development of a new service, creating a positive, person-centred environment for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism.

About the Role
Our client is opening a brand-new supported living service in King's Lynn, providing support to 16 individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism within a newly developed community of self-contained flats and bungalows.
As Service Manager, you will play a key role in establishing the service, recruiting and developing your own team, including an Assistant Service Manager and Support Workers.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance while promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes for the people supported.
Previous experience of setting up a new service would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead, recruit, develop and manage a new team of support staff, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
β’ Oversee the setup and successful opening of the new supported living service.
β’ Ensure high-quality, person-centred support tailored to individual needs, aspirations and goals.
β’ Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support approaches to promote independence.
β’ Manage staff rotas, performance, supervision, training and development.
β’ Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation, health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
β’ Act as the CQC Registered Manager where required.
β’ Manage service budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure effective use of resources.
β’ Develop strong working relationships with families, advocates, multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
