Eleven 11 Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for caring, dependable and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a rewarding care role supporting an individual within their own home in Shrewsbury. About the Role: We are recruiting for both day and night Support Workers to provide person-centred support to a gentleman in his 40s who has an acquired brain injury and mental health needs. We are seeking someone with a calm, patient and positive approach, as the individual being supported can experience anxiety and benefits from reassurance and consistency throughout the day. Building a strong relationship is an important part of this role, so shared interests and good conversation skills would be highly valued.

- Visiting cafés and garden centres
- Short walks within the local community
- Sharing a laugh and enjoying good humour

Shift Requirements: Candidates must be fully flexible across the 7-day week and able to work:
- 14-hour shifts between 8:00am – 10:00pm
- Sleep-in shifts attached to some shifts where required
- Day and night support patterns
Driving Requirements: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial due to the needs of the service.
What You’ll Be Doing: No two days are the same, but responsibilities may include:
- Supporting day-to-day living activities and promoting independence
- Supporting access to community activities and outings
- Encouraging social interaction and maintaining family connections
- Assisting with managing finances where required
- Supporting shopping and maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment
- Providing and encouraging personal care where needed
- Offering reassurance, emotional support and promoting wellbeing
- Building positive relationships and ensuring person-centred support at all times
