Well-Established Groundworks Contractor
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworks Manager to join a well-established and reputable contractor delivering projects across Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take responsibility for multiple sites and oversee groundworks operations from start to finish.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Overall management of groundworks packages across multiple sites
- Planning, programming, and coordinating works to meet project deadlines
- Managing site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with H&S regulations, RAMS, and company procedures
- Liaising with clients, main contractors, engineers, and suppliers
- Overseeing quality control and ensuring works meet required specifications
- Managing plant, materials, and labour efficiently
- Monitoring progress, reporting to senior management, and resolving site issues
- Ensuring works are delivered within programme and budget
- Attending site meetings and inspections as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations, and external works
- SMSTS (or SSSTS with progression), CSCS card
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Full UK driving license
