The Role

Eleven 11 Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Childrens Residential Senior Support Worker for a specialist residential service in Mundesley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional ready to take the next step into a senior role. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality care while supporting the leadership and day-to-day operation of the home. You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting
  • Act as the senior member of staff on shift, leading and supporting the team
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people and act as a positive role model
  • Support the development of independence, life skills, and emotional resilience
  • Line manage and support support workers, including oversight of performance and welfare
  • Coordinate shifts effectively, allocating staff and resources as required
  • Participate in an on-call rota to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with professionals to implement care plans
  • Safely manage and respond to challenging behaviours

About You

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience in residential childcare or a similar environment

A full, valid manual driving licence is essential. Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and waking nights, is required.

Training & Development

Opportunity to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (fully funded) within the first 24 months if not already achieved. Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Salary & Hours

Full-time: 38 hours per week. Includes a mixture of shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights. Sleep-ins paid at £64.95 per night (typically 5 per month). Basic salary range: £28,028 - £28,978 (excluding sleep-ins).
