Description
The Portables & Fulfillment Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of client accounts focused on portable exhibits, fulfillment assets, and show services (as necessary). Essentially, moving any given portable project through the Elevation3D workflow system (Ellie). This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client deliverables, including preparing and executing client contracts, internal work orders and shipping coordination. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides outstanding customer service to our clients, internal team members and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing their portable tradeshow programs and marketing asset fulfillment needs.
- Coordinate all aspects of tradeshow portable exhibit logistics including show service orders, shipping schedules, and return processes.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (client services, warehouse, production and accounting) to ensure accurate and timely execution of client deliverables.
- Maintain client-specific inventory using warehouse management or event asset software systems (e.g., Ellie).
- Generate and manage timelines, project orders, shipping instructions, and invoices for each portable or fulfillment request.
- Collaborate with freight carriers and service vendors to arrange transport and confirm on-time delivery of materials.
- Review show calendars, maintain program schedules, and proactively communicate with clients regarding key deadlines and requirements.
- Assist with the development of standard operating procedures and process improvements related to fulfillment and asset tracking.
- Monitor usage trends and advise clients on reordering, refurbishing, or retiring exhibit assets.
- Support budget and cost tracking, including quoting and invoicing accuracy.
- Provide exceptional client service by anticipating needs, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining professional relationships.
Requirements
- 3+ years of account or project management experience in the tradeshow, events, marketing, or fulfillment industries.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working with asset management, CRM, or event management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics/freight coordination tools.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems with a client-first mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with tradeshow industry practices, general contractor procedures, and show service estimating and ordering
