Elevation Recruitments Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a leading fabrication business based in Rotherham. Our client is a growing provider of specialist products, systems and services to the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Process Industries. The successful candidate must be able to work based in the fabrication shop and nationwide as required to suit business needs.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
Rate: £19.48ph
Overtime: time and a half after 37.5 hours
Overview of the role of a MMA/TIG welder:
- Read and understand technical design drawing specification.
- Product mechanical assembly to drawings specification.
- Safe use of weld & power / hand equipment (to include grinder).
- Adherence / control / completion of fabrication documentation to CE standard.
- Correct use of All PPE - Weld fume & RPE.
- Ability to consistently weld and fabricate whilst conforming to all hot work safety regulations.
- Coded welder – Adherence to all HSE Hot Work Safety Systems.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years Weld Experience / Previous coded welder.
- Rigging / Slinging at advantage.
- Forklift licence / Experience.
- Confined spaces RPE / BA / Experience.
- Must hold a current driving license.
