About the role
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a highly successful manufacturing business in Rotherham to identify a Head of HR. Reporting into the Board, the role will lead and develop the HR function to support the continuing success of the business. With the opportunity to review and renew the HR function, the focus of the role will be to provide a business centric HR support, implementing and embedding business aligned HR initiatives and ensuring the HR Agenda is focussed on commercial achievements.
Key responsibilities
- Leading the HR team; this is an opportunity for change and will include a review of HR practices across the business including reviewing systems, process, policy, learning and development, talent and capability.
- Supporting a discerning leadership team; we’re looking for a highly capable, robust HR professional who can demonstrate influential leadership and agility to professionalise HR.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship development skills and a business support approach, bringing credibility and influence to senior business stakeholders through confident demonstration of expertise.
- Solutions driven, not just problem raising.
- Proven track record of driving forward a HR agenda in line with business strategy, from diagnosis through to designing and delivering solutions.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and deliver in a fast‐paced environment.
- Global mindset with strong business acumen, able to display a commercial and pragmatic approach. Able to credibly talk 'business' and not 'just HR'.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders to deliver strategic priorities.
- Confident in the analysis of key people metrics and using data/metrics/AI to influence business leaders' decisions and strategic thinking.
- Strong external market awareness, networks, and understanding of the role Head of HR can play in the business success.
