Are you a detail-oriented Quality Engineer with a passion for manufacturing excellence? We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Engineer to join a fantastic business based in Rotherham, ensuring high standards across products, processes, and supplier performance.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will lead investigations into production and supplier non-conformities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class products.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the management and resolution of production and component-related non-conformities.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Coordinate the quality team's daily activities and priorities.
- Escalate issues to suppliers and support their development through audits and performance reviews.
- Chair weekly reviews of quality trends, define actions for improvement, and track progress.
- Define and implement inspection and sampling plans.
- Supervise and support the development of Quality Inspectors.
- Contribute to new product development by ensuring quality and risk requirements are met.
- Support internal audits and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.
- Analyse quality metrics and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Be a champion of quality culture and best practices across the organisation.
