Elevation Recruitment Group's Procurement & Supply Chain division are partnering with a global business based in Cardiff as they look to recruit the newly created role of Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Procurement Manager to oversee the organisation's Procurement and Supply Chain. This opportunity offers full autonomy and a flexible working arrangement as well as:

Key duties of the Procurement Specialist will include:
- Managing the entire Procurement lifecycle, from analysis and conception through RFP, selection and onboarding
- Analyse sales data to forecast demand and identify emerging product trends.
- Explore new markets, product opportunities, and manufacturing techniques.
- Refine the product portfolio in response to customer insights and shifting market demands.
- Negotiate supplier terms, including pricing, volume, delivery schedules, and exclusivity agreements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and address any delivery issues.
- Ensure all products meet internal quality benchmarks and align with customer expectations.
- Create accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs) for new product kits.
- Complete shortfall reports to monitor and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Deliver regular performance reports covering sales, supplier activity, and market conditions to senior management and stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- CIPS accredited, or educated to degree standard or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Commercially aware and focused on achieving optimal value in all procurement activities.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
