Elevation have the pleasure of working with one of South Yorkshire's leading FMCG companies! This leading manufacturing company is looking for Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their well-established team!

Salary: £48,801

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Duties of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Being proactive within the job focusing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
  • Fault finding on PLCs
  • Attending to breakdowns from a mechanical and electrical perspective
  • Planned preventative maintenance will be a daily task as one of the core values of the company
  • Working within a team environment so must be a team player, but also work from own initiative when needed
  • Ensure always adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Working to a continuous improvement plan to make yourself and the business the best they can be at all times

Desired experience of a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds – Apprentice trained)
  • It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
  • Ideally have 3 years experience within a multi-skilled maintenance position recently
  • Must be happy working shift pattern
  • Ideally have experience of working in an FMCG/fast-paced environment previously
  • Must have worked within a manufacturing maintenance background previously
  • Must have a good work ethic; this company is looking for people who live to achieve
