Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working on behalf of a client in Harrogate to recruit an experienced Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role, you will be responsible for producing management accounts, accruals, prepayments, cashbook, P&L's, supporting forecasting and cashflow reporting, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and management information
- Producing consolidated reports with commentary
- Creating and maintaining forecasts, including cashflow forecasting
- Bank reconciliations and daily cash postings
- Inter-company reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting sales and purchase ledger activities
- Supporting statutory accounts preparation and audit processes
- Reviewing financial performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Contributing to improvements in financial systems and processes
About You:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
- Strong P&L experience for multiple businesses
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Confident preparing management accounts and forecasts
- Good Excel skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
This is a hybrid working role, working 2 days WFH/3 office, paying up to £36k DOE.
