Interim Head of HR
Leeds – Hybrid – 2 days in the office – with some travel to UK offices 12 Month interim contract
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a national not-for-profit organisation looking for an experienced Interim Head of HR to lead their People team through a period of transformation. The focus will be on maintaining day to day delivery while strengthening team capability and embedding key changes that support long-term success.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Interim Head of HR Include:
- Lead and support an established HR team through a time of change
- Coach team members to improve service delivery and confidence
- Assess team structure, performance and potential – address underperformance fairly and proactively
- Oversee all core HR operations: employee relations, recruitment, policies, safeguarding, compliance
- Ensure annual processes (e.g. appraisals, reporting, workforce planning) are delivered effectively
- Provide trusted support and pragmatic advice to leaders across the organisation
- Drive the next phase of organisational development from an HR perspective
- Embed change across learning, recruitment, performance, reward, and policy
- Shape practical, proportionate approaches to people management that reflect values and future direction
