Interim Finance Manager – 8 Month FTC
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
Start Date: July 2025
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a leading international business to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for an 8-month fixed-term contract, based in Barnsley.
This is a broad and hands-on role with responsibility for the full finance function of the UK trading business, as well as oversight of an overseas entity. You\’ll manage a range of core finance duties, including month-end, audit preparation, budgeting, and team leadership, while also working closely with external stakeholders and payroll providers.
Key Responsibilities Include:
UK Operations:

Full month-end close and reporting for the UK business

Weekly cash flow forecasting and debtor reporting

Weekly payment run preparation and bank approvals

Quarterly VAT returns

Annual preparation of P11Ds and statutory accounts

Coordination of external audit

Posting of intercompany recharges

Budgeting and forecasting activities

Monthly HR reporting and pension uploads

Review of AR, AP, and banking ledgers
Overseas Entity (Europe-Based):

Day-to-day finance transactions including banking and invoice postings

Ensuring supplier payments are made on time

Cash flow forecasting and full month-end process

Liaising with local finance service providers

Supporting annual audit and budgeting processes
Additional Responsibilities:

Managing a team of two (AP/AR Assistant and Financial Accountant)

Overseeing payroll payments and journals across both entities

Regular liaison with external payroll providers
