Elevation Recruitment Group are working in partnership with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Head of Health, Safety & Environmental to join their facility near Bansley, South Yorkshire. The Head of Health, Safety & Environmental will be responsible for the management and strategy of the HSE activities and will lead, coach and manage a team of HSE Advisors. Our client is looking for a dynamic, people-centric person with safety at the forefront of everything they do.
Duties of the Head of Health, Safety & Environmental will include:
- Supervise the implementation of Safety, Health and Environmental rules and regulations
- Conduct Safety, Health, and Environmental audits to identify risks and development opportunities
- Provide Safety, Health and Environmental input into all aspects of the UK process
- Co-ordinate the education and training of the organisation’s workforce on HSE issues
- Drive the organisational awareness of the importance of effectively delivering Safety, Health and Environmental compliance
We are keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- NEBOSH diploma
- Chartered Member of IOSH would be ideal
- Experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- Enjoys being Operational and involved with the day-to-day activities whilst having the ability to drive the strategic direction
- Proven background in implementing and improving SHE KPIs
