Elevation are currently working in partnership with our clients fast paced finance team, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant in Leeds, LS15.
The Role: As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll support the Finance Manager in reporting/analysing performance, preparing P&Ls, accruals/prepayments and helping with budgets and forecasts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a switched on recent graduate that has gained initial finance experience to develop your accounting skills and progress in a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare P&Ls, analyse costs, and investigate variances
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Improve finance processes and controls
- Business partnering with stakeholders
- Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial teams
Skills & Knowledge:
- Start of CIMA or ACCA studies, wanting to continue
- Experience in management accounts (prepayments, accruals)
- Recent Accounting graduate (or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience in a busy finance team
