Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Normanton area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, office based, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating cashflow including 13 weeks forecast
- Posting payments and receipts to the ledgers
- Closing and opening of the ledgers monthly
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Assisting the Finance Business Partners with month end tasks
- Running regular reports for the finance team and management
- Supporting sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
- Posting depreciation
- Prepayments / Accruals
- Creating ad hoc and regular monthly payments
- Assisting with budgeting
- Year End Audit support
What we are looking for:
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping
- AAT level 3 or above / QBE
- Advanced Excel skill/ Data entry
- Bookkeeping skills
