Location: Sheffield

Salary: £33,245 per year

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 12:30pm (paid at time and a third)

Breaks:

  • 10:00am – 10:15am
  • 12:30pm – 1:00pm
  • 3:00pm – 3:10pm

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled MIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role working within a busy fabrication workshop, producing high-quality components and structures for a variety of industrial applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a welder who takes pride in their work and is looking to join a stable business offering consistent hours and long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out MIG welding on mild steel components to a high standard
  • Fabricating parts and assemblies from engineering drawings
  • Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials prior to welding
