Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Normanton area as they look to recruit a Treasury Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
-
Daily reconciliation of Accounts Receivable ledgers
-
Assist with daily monitoring of the business’ financing facilities
-
Month end reporting of the business’ financing facilities
-
Bank reconciliations on a daily basis
-
Following up on queries to ensure all bank statements are accurately reconciled through to entering of journals

Investigation of any un-reconciled items
-
Ensuring any inter-company bank transactions are reconciled
-
Month end balance sheet reconciliations
-
Prepare, post and reconcile month end nominal journals/accruals

Co-ordinate and perform month end system close procedures

Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports to other departments, management and external stakeholders

Process daily BACS/CHAPS payments through relevant Accounting system or via Online Banking

Knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)

Confidence to communicate with all levels within the business

Methodical and analytical approach with a strong attention to detail

Determination and flexibility to ensure all deadlines are met

Good work ethic and must be able to work as part of a team as well as an individual
