Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturer to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their established team in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire.
Salary: £56,000
Shifts: 4 on 4 off days and nights
Benefits:
- 29 days holiday including Bank holidays
- Bonus scheme
- Up to 10% company pension
- Overtime available
Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system
- Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown
- Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service
- Identify any spare part requirements
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Maintenance Engineers who possess the following:
- Mechanically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally apprentice trained
- Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment - ideally heavy industry
- Experience with PPM's and breakdowns
- A sound working knowledge of modern pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components
