Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering exclusively with an Award-Winning Engineering business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Controller to join their team. This newly created key role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of areas including Procurement, Haulage, Stock Control and Planning, making every day varied, challenging and rewarding.

Working Hours / Benefits:

  • 8am – 4pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Enhanced pension (8% employer contribution)

The Role:

  • Oversee day-to-day production, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met
  • Monitor stock levels and manage procurement of materials
  • Maintain quality records and ensure compliance with company accreditations
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, clients and suppliers, ensuring specifications are met
  • Work with the goods-in team to track deliveries and shipments
  • Use IT systems including Excel and Xero

The Person:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
  • Some general understanding of engineering or steel works
  • Effective communication skills for liaising across teams and suppliers
