Are you an experienced Operational Resilience and Business Continuity professional looking for a role where you can shape strategy rather than simply maintain it? Elevation Recruitment Group's Business Support team are supporting a leading retail and financial services organisation in the search for a Resilience Manager – Business & Supplier to join their growing Operational Resilience function.

This is a high-profile position that offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence business-wide resilience strategy, and lead a team responsible for ensuring the organisation is prepared for disruption in an ever-changing environment.

The Opportunity

  • You'll be responsible for driving and enhancing the Retail Operational Resilience and Business Continuity frameworks, ensuring robust plans are in place to protect customers, colleagues and the wider business.
  • Working across multiple business areas and with third-party suppliers, you'll identify risks, strengthen resilience capabilities, and support the organisation through incidents and ongoing transformation.
  • Alongside strategic responsibilities, you'll lead and develop a team of two Resilience Analysts, creating a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Retail Operational Resilience and Business Continuity programme.
  • Develop, review and enhance resilience strategies, testing plans and response frameworks.
  • Take ownership of supplier resilience, ensuring third-party risks are effectively managed.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and executive committees to communicate resilience priorities and outcomes.
  • Support and coordinate responses to significant business incidents.
  • Drive governance, continuous improvement and best practice across resilience activities.
  • Coach, mentor and develop a team of Resilience Analysts.
  • Work closely with Group Resilience teams to ensure consistency across the wider organisation.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings a combination of technical expertise and strong leadership skills, with experience in areas such as:

  • Operational Resilience
  • Business Continuity
  • Third-Party or Supplier Risk
  • Operational Risk Management

You'll also have:

  • Previous experience leading or managing a team.
  • The ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and implementing resilience frameworks and continuity plans.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to driving change and continuous improvement.
  • Experience within retail, financial services, hospitality or another regulated environment would be advantageous, as would exposure to FCA/PRA Operational Resilience regulations or qualifications such as CBCI/MBCI, although these are not essential.
