Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a well-established manufacturing business to recruit a Welding Inspector to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that truly values its people and offers variety, stability, and excellent progression opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out welding and quality inspections across manufacturing areas
- Support operators in identifying and resolving non-conformances
- Assist with developing and auditing quality control procedures
- Perform patrol inspections and immediate containment of defects
- Collect and record measurement data accurately
Hours & Pay:
- Days: Mon–Thurs 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–13:30 (40 hrs/week)
- Pay: £15.16/hr + £45 weekly bonus
- Overtime: x1.5 weekday, x2.0 weekends
Experience Required:
- Visual Weld Inspection Qualification (e.g. PCN Level 1)
- Background in Welding/Fabrication or similar manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, Access)
