We are working with a leading global manufacturer who are looking to appoint an experienced Plant Manager to lead their South Yorkshire site. This is a senior role with full accountability for safety, people, performance and delivery across a multi-facility manufacturing operation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead site operations with a strong safety first culture
- Deliver production, quality and customer service targets
- Develop and coach a multi-disciplinary management team
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices
- Own site budgets, forecasts and capital projects
- Ensure full compliance across health, environmental and legal standards
What we are looking for:
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally high volume
- Plant Management experience, or a senior Production/Operations Leader with leadership of a large site, multiple direct reports over multiple disciplines
- Strong people leadership and engagement skills
- Solid understanding of lean, continuous improvement and plant reliability
- Comfortable with financial accountability and data-led decision making
