Location: Sheffield
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a key client, who are undertaking a large-scale ERP transformation programme and are looking for a Junior Data Developer to support the migration from legacy systems into Sage X3. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants real exposure to ERP implementation and data transformation projects - not just BAU reporting. You'll work closely with senior developers and stakeholders to ensure accurate, reliable data migration into a modern ERP environment.
Duties of the Junior Data Developer will include:
- Analysing data from legacy systems
- Supporting ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
- Validating and reconciling migrated data
- Performing data cleansing and quality checks
- Supporting UAT and testing phases
- Maintaining data mapping documentation and migration logs
- Providing support during and post-migration phases
What We’re Looking For:
- Basic experience with SQL and relational databases
- Understanding of data structures and data quality principles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn in a project-driven environment
- Exposure to ERP systems (Sage X3 or similar) desirable
- Experience with ETL tools (academic or commercial) desirable
- Exposure to cloud platforms desirable
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
