Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established international business with the recruitment of a Financial Accounting Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technical finance professional to join a high-performing finance function in a broad and visible leadership role, managing core financial accounting operations across the UK business.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring strong financial control, statutory compliance and continuous improvement across the finance function, whilst leading and developing an established transactional and financial accounting team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the financial accounting function including general ledger, AP, AR and cash flow activities
- Manage and develop a finance team, driving performance and engagement
- Ensure strong financial controls, balance sheet integrity and accurate statutory reporting
- Oversee external audit processes and support tax compliance activities
- Support working capital and cash flow management across the business
- Partner with senior stakeholders across finance and operations
- Drive process improvements and support wider finance transformation initiatives
