Elevation Tech & Transformation are proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of a key client for a hands-on Group Infrastructure Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver a modern cloud and infrastructure strategy within an international organisation undergoing significant transformation.
If you enjoy staying close to the tech while leading people and driving real change, this role offers the perfect blend of technical leadership, cloud strategy, and delivery ownership.
As Group Infrastructure Manager you will take ownership of the Group’s infrastructure roadmap, helping move a hybrid estate toward a modern cloud-first model. Working across multiple European locations, you’ll lead infrastructure transformation initiatives while managing a small team and remaining technically hands-on.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Drive on-prem to cloud migration programmes across a European estate.
- Design and manage secure, resilient hybrid environments across platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
- Oversee infrastructure security, resilience, and compliance (including Cyber Essentials Plus).
- Manage suppliers, risks, and service performance reporting.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical leadership while line-managing 3 engineers within a team of 6.
- Promote cyber security awareness and best practice across the organisation.
- Proven experience delivering on premises to cloud migration programmes.
- Strong hands-on background in hybrid infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- A leader who remains technically engaged alongside management responsibilities.
- Experience managing infrastructure strategy, service desk operations, and suppliers.
- Solid networking and systems knowledge (e.g. Cisco technologies, Windows Server, M365 / Entra ID).
- Azure Administrator or Architect (AZ-104 / AZ-305) or equivalent AWS certification.
- ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Cyber Essentials / ISO 27001 exposure.
- CCNA or similar networking certification.
