The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established and growing scaffolding company who are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of high-volume, fast-paced projects. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of multiple contracts from initial planning through to completion.
The Role
You will oversee all operational and installation activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. Working closely with clients, site teams and internal departments, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and driving performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple scaffolding contracts simultaneously across a range of sites
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including labour, materials, and programme delivery
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Lead and support site supervisors and operatives to achieve project objectives
- Monitor project progress, costs, and performance, taking corrective action where needed
- Contribute to planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or senior operational role within the scaffolding industry, or looking for a step up into a management role
- Strong understanding of scaffolding operations on fast-paced, high-volume contracts
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Relevant industry qualifications desirable
