Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with Severfield, the largest specialist structural steelwork Group in the UK, with the appointment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team in the groupβs Nuclear and Infrastructure division, working for a business which prides itself on quality and innovation, with unrivalled expertise in critical infrastructure projects. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on high value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients which service the defence, nuclear, oil & gas, and petrochemical sectors. Responsibilities: Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of key nuclear and defence projects Commercial responsibility from contract award through to completion and final account Managing variations and changes with customers Working as part of an experienced commercial team Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes Requirements: Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS Construction industry experience in a commercial role Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts Good communication skills with the ability to influence An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business Our client prides itself in the delivery of quality products and services, knowing their people have forged a world-class reputation.
