Location: Hull, UK – Hybrid (UK travel and occasional international travel)

Salary: Up to £60k DOE + bonus + exceptional benefits

Overview

Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a Project Engineer to lead CAPEX projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through to delivery and validation
• Control project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes
• Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
• Apply knowledge of process validation, change control, and project planning
• Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
• Travel to UK and occasional overseas sites as required

Skills and experience we’re looking for

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
• Strong project management experience, ideally with CAPEX projects
• Hands‑on experience with automation or manufacturing equipment is highly desirable
• Vision system experience is a plus but not essential
• Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects independently
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas on rare occasions
