Overview
Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking a Project Engineer to lead CAPEX projects in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage CAPEX projects from planning and budgeting through to delivery and validation
- Control project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes
- Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Apply knowledge of process validation, change control, and project planning
- Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout the project lifecycle
- Travel to UK and occasional overseas sites as required
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
- Strong project management experience, ideally with CAPEX projects
- Hands‑on experience with automation or manufacturing equipment is highly desirable
- Vision system experience is a plus but not essential
- Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects independently
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas on rare occasions
