Job Description

Senior Procurement Manager – Hull/Hybrid – Circa £50,000 + Bonus

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a leading provider of procurement framework services specialising in supporting the public sector with construction and infrastructure projects.

This is a newly created key role will help to continue to build on the wealth of capability and expertise the company holds.

Senior Procurement Manager Duties:

  • Managing the Professional Services frameworks
  • Working closely with internal consultants to identify and bring opportunities to the business to support the achievement of the strategic goals
  • Responsible for line managing a Framework Manager
  • Working with all the consultants on the framework to promote Construction frameworks alongside Regional Delivery Managers
  • Supporting the Regional Delivery Managers with client enquiries around portfolio of frameworks
  • Working with the internal marketing team to identify opportunities to promote frameworks
  • Expediting and managing general enquiries
  • Compiling business dashboards
  • Reviewing tender notifications for potential projects
  • Working with the procurement team to manage the tender process through the internal portal
  • Ensuring Framework targets are met and/or exceeded

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday (Flexitime)

Required skills & experience:

  • Have an understanding of public sector procurement and frameworks
  • Understand the importance of good supplier management processes
  • Great interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable with delivering presentations
  • Confident, assertive, able to work independently and make decisions without the requirement for continuous supervision
