Elevation Senior Finance are currently working with a well-established Accountancy Practice based in West Yorkshire as they look to recruit an Accounts Senior into their team. The successful candidate will either be AAT qualified and/or nearly or newly ACCA/ACA qualified & have a minimum of 2 years' UK accountancy practice experience!
Key Roles & Responsibilities of the Accounts Senior will include:
- Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
- Preparation of Corporation Tax returns
- Preparation of Personal Tax returns
- Attending regular client meetings and building lasting relationships with clients
- Additional general tasks and duties for clients
- Support the development of accounts assistants through thoughtful delegation and quality reviews
- Oversee and process VAT returns, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Candidates Attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice
- Either nearly/newly ACCA or ACA qualified or QBE
- Have an understanding of the following software: QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Products and Taxcalc or Iris
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Be able to prepare and complete annual accounts and corporation tax returns, VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
