Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Selby.
Location: Selby
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
Benefits: Company pension, Life insurance, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, Private medical insurance, Length of Service Bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts.
- Mechanical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
- NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance as a minimum.
- Proven experience in a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments (FMCG preferable).
- Experience in fabrication and welding.
Suited candidates previously hold roles such as: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Mechanic, Robotics Engineer.
