Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer based in Selby to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Hours: 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure optimum efficiency of all machinery.
Duties of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer include:
- Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance promptly
- Attending breakdowns, fault finding and conducting rectifications of faults
- Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components
- Perform Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) and greasing schedules
- Involvement in the testing, improvement and maintenance of manufacturing processes and infrastructure
- Work in conjunction with contractors/vendor service teams when more specialised skills are required
- Support the implementation of a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for all repairs, servicing, and modifications to equipment
- Work towards a zero-breakdown and zero-stop mentality
We would be keen to speak with Mechanical Maintenance Engineers with the following:
- Apprentice-trained or relevant mechanical engineering qualifications
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, whilst working to high standards and time constraints
- Positive and proactive problem solver
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather, including working outside, in production areas and on-site workshop
- Able to work in a team environment, with good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work and interact at all levels within an organisation
- Ability to be on call out of hours on a rota system
