Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a well-established and growing organisation in the search for an Interim Commercial Accountant to join their finance team immediately on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a commercially focused role, partnering closely with operational stakeholders and providing valuable financial insight to support business performance and decision-making.
With flexible hybrid working and a collaborative environment, this role would suit either a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) finance professional with strong commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the key finance business partner to operational and commercial stakeholders
- Produce monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial reports
- Deliver meaningful analysis, commentary and insights to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor business performance, profitability and key financial metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning activities
- Provide challenge and support to budget holders and operational managers
- Review financial data, identify trends and make recommendations to improve performance
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives across finance and operations
- Assist with business planning, scenario modelling and financial forecasting
- Support year-end activities and liaise with auditors where required

- Previous experience in a Commercial Accountant, Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant role
- Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- The ability to interpret complex financial information and present it clearly
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
