Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Scunthorpe (with travel to Brigg) as they look to recruit a finance assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing high-volume purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the finance system
- Handling supplier queries and supporting the reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assisting with sales ledger duties including raising invoices and allocating payments
- Supporting month-end processes, including preparation of reconciliations and reports
- Maintaining accurate financial records in line with company policies
- Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a transactional finance role (AP/AR) is desirable
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
