Sales Office Manager – Barnsley (Temp to Perm)
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a fantastic family-run business (yes, dogs included!) and we’re on the lookout for a versatile Sales Office Manager to keep our operations running smoothly and support our Sales Director. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering real variety, responsibility, and a chance to shape the way we work.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)
Pay: 40 hours per week
Salary: £30000 - £40000 - DOE
What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a main point of contact to the Sales Director – managing all his paperwork, handling emails, scanning, organising, and helping manage his diary.
- Full sales process management – from estimations and quotes to invoicing and processing orders.
- Liaising with all departments to coordinate orders, deliveries, and fittings.
- Using SAGE/CRM systems to manage customer accounts, chase old enquiries, process payments, and handle cash.
- Supporting the showroom – welcoming customers, directing them to sales staff, and stepping in when needed.
- Office leadership – managing a small team now, with potential to grow to 10 staff
- HR support across the business – recruitment, onboarding, contracts, holiday/sickness tracking, disciplinary and grievance liaison with our HR partner.
- General office duties: filing, scanning, admin tasks.
- Helping oversee fleet management – tracking vehicles, arranging servicing, ensuring everything runs on time.
What we’d love from you:
- Proven office management or senior admin experience.
- Strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude.
- Confidence managing staff and supporting directors.
- Sales processing or order management background.
- Bonus if you’ve handled purchasing or fleet management before.
- Comfortable using IT systems, particularly SAGE (or similar).
- A people person who’s just as happy chatting to customers face-to-face as getting stuck into spreadsheets.
